Coaching and Training Package – Skill Camp 2020

At Pro Prospect skill camps all training and coaching is done in small groups. We want to make sure that you get our maximum attention and we can really dig deep into perfecting your ice hockey skills.

Coaching and Training consists of three parts:

  1. Training – focusing on your specific needs
  2. Testing – in the beginning of the camp we search your individual development needs
  3. Player Profile – where we collect all our findings (this is for you something to take home with you in addition to your fine tuned skills)

1. TRAINING

On-ice (14–16 h)

Individual techniques and skills:

  • Skating
  • Stickhandling
  • Shooting
  • Passing & receiving

 

Off-ice (12–14 h)

Ice hockey specific physiological properties (concerning on-ice features of each practice day):

  • Strength
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Mobility
  • Endurance
  • Balance
  • Body control

- Practices will be filmed and performance analyzed to give instant feedback for the players.
- Practices will be held by specialized experts of each specific property.

2. TESTING

On-ice

Individual skills, techniques and physiological properties

  • Skating (techniques, body position, speed, mobility, endurance)

Off-ice

Ice hockey specific physiological properties

  • Strength
  • Power
  • Mobility
  • Balance
  • Body control

- Test pattern is created by Pro Prospect experts.
- Tests will be filmed and techniques and physiological properties analyzed.
- Each part of the tests gives detailed information of the individual properties of the player.
